The Illustrations Library is a set of pre-made components intended for the purpose of being able to quickly generate original illustrated compositions in Figma. These illustrations can then be exported in various image formats for use elsewhere; for example, as a JPG imported to Google Slides or uploaded to Twitter. It can be used by anyone at Envision with access to Figma.
Keeping inclusivity and accessibility in mind, communications from Envision should be designed to ensure that the principle content is in written form so that it can be read by alternative reading methods such as a screenreader or OCR. That said, many people who interact with Envision are also sighted or have rest vision.
Adding illustrations to written content simplifies complex ideas into quick, visual explanations that support the message without omitting important information should the user be unable to see them. Nonetheless, illustrations should be meaningful and relate to the content they support rather than being a visual ornament.
